DEATH OF FORMER CLYDESDALE INTERNATIONALIST

Neil Leitch, the official archivist for Cricket Scotland, has passed on news of the death of a former Clydesdale international cricketer, Neil Kemsley. Born in Australia, he played first for Grange, then for Clydesdale, in the mid-1950s.

He won 10 caps for Scotland between 1955 & 1957, scoring a total of 285 runs at an average of 20.35, including one century and a half-century.

Neil Kemsley was born in Melbourne in September 1933, but was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School.
